Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and organized Clinic Assistant to support our veterinary team in delivering excellent care to pets and outstanding service to clients. This role is central to ensuring smooth daily operations within our hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and manage appointment scheduling.
- Assist veterinarians and nurses during consultations and procedures.
- Handle and restrain pets safely and humanely.
- Maintain cleanliness of the clinic and consultation areas.
- Prepare and sanitize instruments and equipment.
- Provide pet care guidance and customer service.
- Update and organize medical records as required.
- Ensure smooth flow of clients and pets within the hospital.
Requirements
- Experience in a veterinary clinic, hospital, or animal care setting is an advantage.
- Strong passion for animals with the ability to handle them calmly.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
- Minimum qualification: SSCE/OND (higher qualifications are an advantage).
