Who is this for?
Applicants applying for competitive funding, study visas, academic programs, research grants, or professional proposals needing expert-level positioning.
Since 2018, the MTN Nigeria Foundation in partnership with Google, Oracle, KPMG, IBM, Cisco, Meta and Microsoft has trained 15,362 young entrepreneurs across 29 states and FCT. This is Phase 8 and it’s focused on women.
Phase 8 will run for five weeks using a blended-learning approach: self-paced online modules, instructor-led sessions, masterclasses from successful entrepreneurs, and a capstone project. Participants will receive data support for learning.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for MTN ICT & Business Skills Training Phase 8, you must meet these criteria:
- Gender & Age: Must be a Nigerian female aged 18 – 35 years
- Business: Must own and manage a micro business that has been operational for not more than 2 years
- Location: Business must be located in one of these 6 states: Rivers, Abia, Ogun, Kwara, Kano, or Gombe
- Availability: Must be available for the 5-week blended training
Documents Needed to Apply
Keep these ready before you start your application on the portal:
- Valid means of identification (NIN Slip, Voter’s Card, or Driver’s License)
- Recent passport photograph
- CAC Certificate (if available – not compulsory for micro business)
- Business details – Business name, location, what you sell/do, how long you have operated
- Active email address and phone number
- Brief business plan / pitch (What problem does your business solve?)
