Job Overview
The Risk and Compliance Analyst will support the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the organization’s risk, compliance, and control frameworks. The role ensures that UAC achieves its strategic objectives while maintaining business integrity, compliance, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess internal control systems, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
- Enforce compliance with the Code of Business Conduct and reduce exposure to risks.
- Conduct ad-hoc reviews and investigations into operational or compliance concerns.
- Supervise and report on stock-take exercises, ensuring accuracy and corrective action.
- Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Support risk and compliance initiatives in line with departmental plans.
- Evaluate and enhance risk management, compliance, and operational frameworks.
- Maintain and update the risk register and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
- Report on market risk trends and emerging risks relevant to UAC Foods Ltd.
Requirements
- HND or BSc in a relevant discipline.
- Knowledge of legislation, FMCG operations, risk and internal control frameworks.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and persuasive abilities.
- Report writing and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
