Job Overview
The Facility Technician will support the Facility Lead in ensuring that the hospital’s buildings and equipment are well-maintained, safe, and operating efficiently. The role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide quality service in a healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out essential facility maintenance tasks such as electrical, plumbing, and general repairs.
- Assist with facility management activities across various locations when required.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and reports.
- Oversee repairs and servicing of equipment, systems, and structures.
- Support facility space management including layout, allocation, and relocations.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify safety hazards and implement corrective measures.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of an OND in a relevant field.
- 2–4 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge of facility management systems.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physically fit and open to working flexible hours.
