As a Warehouse Assistant, you will support the efficient operation of the warehouse by managing incoming and outgoing goods, maintaining accurate stock records, and ensuring safe handling of materials. This role is vital in supporting maintenance activities by guaranteeing timely availability of spare parts and consumables.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and check incoming goods and materials.
- Label, store, and organize inventory in designated bin locations.
- Assist with daily cycle counts and resolve stock discrepancies.
- Pick, pack, and prepare items for dispatch as per schedules.
- Perform SAP checks to reconcile physical and system records.
- Assist in creating purchase requisitions in SAP.
- Maintain stock records and update inventory systems.
- Conduct routine stock checks and report discrepancies.
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness, orderliness, and safety compliance.
Requirements
- Minimum of entry-level to 5 years’ experience in warehouse operations.
- CIPS certification – completed Level 4.
