Volunteer Research Coordinator – Community-Based SRHR Study

The Community Centre for Integrated Development is seeking dedicated Volunteer Research Coordinators to join a community-based study focused on documenting violence affecting young people (15–24) and assessing their access to SRHR services in Fako Division. This is a flexible remote role open to applicants worldwide.
Role Overview
- Type: Remote, volunteer position

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate field activities while ensuring adherence to ethical standards.
- Recruit, train, and support community volunteers in gender-sensitive research methods.
- Oversee logistics, scheduling, and allocation of volunteers for data collection.
- Engage communities by liaising with local authorities, health facilities, and youth groups.
- Manage data integrity, troubleshoot challenges, and maintain secure records.
- Uphold participant safety, informed consent, and confidentiality protocols.
- Support event planning, community outreach, and dissemination workshops.
- Assist the research team with reporting, record keeping, and daily coordination.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, sociology, anthropology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in research coordination or community-based projects; SRHR/GBV background is a plus.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, especially working with young people.
- Ability to train, manage, and supervise volunteers.
- Proficiency with digital tools and willingness to learn KoBoToolbox or similar platforms.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French, Pidgin English, or local languages is desirable.
