Job Overview
As the Programme Manager, you will manage the full lifecycle of programme delivery—from conceptualization and planning to execution, monitoring, and reporting. You’ll build and maintain strong partnerships with innovators, entrepreneurs, and ecosystem players while aligning initiatives with Ubulu Africa’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver impactful programmes aligned with Ubulu Africa’s strategy in collaboration with the Programme Director.
- Apply design thinking, project management, and compliance standards in programme design.
- Oversee planning and execution: timelines, milestones, events, partnerships, publicity, vendors, and risk management.
- Prepare reports, track KPIs, develop proposals, and ensure contract compliance.
- Build and manage strong relationships with stakeholders and partners.
- Mentor team members, set performance goals, and foster a collaborative culture.
Skills & Requirements
- 8+ years’ experience in programme/project management in startups, innovation, enterprise support, or consulting.
- Experience designing training and capacity-building content for innovation programmes.
- Excellent leadership, multitasking, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong passion for technology, startups, and innovation with deep ecosystem knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Google suites; PMP certification is an added advantage.
- Strong English communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to travel.
