We are seeking a Professional Carpenter with hands-on experience in bespoke joinery and fine woodwork. The ideal candidate should possess technical expertise, creativity, and an eye for detail—capable of interpreting design drawings and producing elegant, functional wooden structures and furniture to perfection.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, MDF, MFC, and plywood materials.
- Install doors, frames, cabinets, wardrobes, staircases, and custom furniture.
- Fit kitchens, worktops, shelves, and bespoke storage units.
- Read and interpret architectural plans, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Carry out site surveys, take precise measurements, and report progress.
- Repair or replace damaged panels, woodwork, and interior fixtures.
- Operate hand tools and power machinery safely and accurately.
- Apply finishing touches such as sanding, edging, varnishing, and laminating.
- Collaborate with designers, architects, and other tradespeople to meet specifications.
