2025 Afro-Tech Girls Scholarship Program
The Afro-Tech Girls community has launched its 2025 “Project 100 for 50” initiative — awarding ₦100,000 each to 50 female STEM students across Nigeria to help them complete their university degrees and thrive in technology and science careers.
This undergraduate scholarship, valued at ₦100,000 per beneficiary, is sponsored by Afro-Tech Girls and open to female students in public universities and polytechnics across Nigeria who are pursuing STEM degrees.

Who is this for?
Applicants applying for competitive funding, study visas, academic programs, research grants, or professional proposals needing expert-level positioning.
Afro-Tech Girls is driven by a vision to equip young women with skills and confidence to excel in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Through mentorship and scholarships, they aim to close the gender gap in STEM fields across Africa.

Eligibility Criteria
- Female student currently residing in Nigeria
- Enrolled in a public tertiary institution (Federal, State, or Polytechnic)
- Pursuing a STEM-related degree
- Minimum academic grade of 2:2 or its equivalent
- Membership in Afro-Tech Girls community is an added advantage
Required Documents
- Proof of Admission to the Tertiary Institution
- Valid Means of Identification
- Current Grade Report / Transcript
- A written application (300–450 words) explaining your background, why you need the scholarship, and why you should be selected

The deadline for applications is October 20, 2025. Successful beneficiaries will receive the ₦100,000 award as a one-time support toward their education expenses and transition into the STEM workforce.
