Role summary
The Client Research Manager will manage day‑to‑day client relationships, ensure the accuracy and timeliness of reports, and convert data into insight-led recommendations that drive client outcomes and revenue. You will also coach junior staff and help shape account plans.
Key responsibilities
- Manage delivery of contracted services: ensure report accuracy, relevance and timeliness.
- Build strong client relationships; act as a trusted business adviser during on‑site days and meetings.
- Identify revenue opportunities and contribute to account planning and monthly forecasts.
- Use Powerview advanced features (level groups, distributions) and liaise with Worldpanel Ops to resolve data issues.
- Take briefs, produce presentations and written materials with actionable recommendations.
- Coach junior team members, support development objectives and share ways of working across teams.
Ideal skills & experience
- Experience in market research, insights or client-facing roles with strong account handling skills.
- Comfort with data and reporting tools (Powerview) and an ability to turn numbers into narratives.
- Clear communicator with strong influencing and presentation skills.
- Organised, proactive and commercially minded; evidence of identifying opportunities to grow accounts.
- Experience mentoring or managing junior analysts is an advantage.
