The Opportunity

As a Java Developer at DoseSpot, you’ll be part of a collaborative team developing high-performance healthcare applications. You’ll work on scalable, secure solutions that simplify critical prescription and verification processes for thousands of healthcare providers across the United States. This is a hands-on, fully remote position that values creativity, technical excellence, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy modern healthcare applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical systems efficiently.
• Implement REST APIs, microservices, caching, and performance optimization.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following Java and Spring best practices.
• Ensure application security and compliance with healthcare standards such as HIPAA and SOC 2.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Integrate Generative AI tools for testing, automation, or code analysis where appropriate.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Java development (Java 8, 17, or 21).
• Expertise in Spring 6, Spring Boot, WebFlux, JPA, JDBC, and Security.
• Proficiency in AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with MySQL, Redis Cache, Maven, Log4J2, JUnit, and SLF4J.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, Microservices architecture, and API Gateways.
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Bonus: Frontend experience in React or prior healthcare industry exposure.
