What This Role Signals
This role reflects how many SME-focused firms now use remote assistants for direct outreach and lead generation rather than purely administrative tasks.
The emphasis on proactive messaging, follow-ups, and basic CRM tracking suggests that virtual assistant roles are increasingly tied to revenue-support functions, even when compensation remains modest.
The combination of remote work with occasional on-site presence also highlights a hybrid expectation that remains common for locally based remote roles in Nigeria.
