This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced professional with strong organizational and inventory management skills. About the Role
The Storekeeper will be responsible for managing all stock and inventory operations. This includes receiving supplies, maintaining records, ensuring safe storage, and supporting daily hotel operations by keeping materials well-organized and available.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage store inventory including receiving, labeling, shelving, and rotating stock.
- Replenish supplies and maintain store layout for efficiency and safety.
- Inspect deliveries for damages or discrepancies and process reports.
- Oversee packing, labeling, and pricing of goods.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and monthly stock reports.
- Dispose of expired stock and follow FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
- Prepare purchase orders and material received reports (MRR).
- Support compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a storekeeper.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and bookkeeping.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail and strong data management ability.
