About the Role

We are seeking a Business Development Officer to join our team in Lagos. This role is perfect for a proactive, ambitious professional who thrives in building strong partnerships, engaging decision-makers, and driving meaningful business growth in the financial technology sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and target potential partner organizations across diverse industries.
• Engage HR Managers, Finance Directors, CEOs, and decision-makers to promote WageX solutions.
• Present and demonstrate product benefits to stakeholders.
• Negotiate, close deals, and manage corporate partnership agreements.
• Work with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Customer Support) for smooth partner onboarding.
• Track performance, prepare reports, and analyze market trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally within financial services, HR solutions, or employee benefits.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to engage senior decision-makers confidently.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
