Ascentech Services Limited, a leading HR solutions provider established in 2013, is inviting applications for the position of AI Agent Engineer in Lagos. This is a full-time opportunity offering a competitive salary range of ₦400,000 – ₦500,000 (Net) per month.
About the Role
We are seeking innovative AI Agent Engineers to join our fast-growing team. In this role, you will design, build, and deploy intelligent AI agents that transform enterprise workflows. The position is hands-on, dynamic, and requires expertise in working with LLMs, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy autonomous AI agents for enterprise workflows.
- Develop multi-step reasoning agents using LLMs and APIs.
- Integrate AI solutions with SAP, CRM, and internal enterprise tools.
- Optimize agent memory, retrieval, and multi-agent collaboration.
- Conduct proof of concepts (POCs) and benchmark performance.
- Push solutions into production with a focus on scalability and reliability.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of AI development experience.
- Delivered at least 2 successful AI/GenAI agent projects.
- Proficiency with frameworks like LangChain, AutoGPT, or LlamaIndex.
- Strong skills in Python, APIs, and microservices.
- Experience integrating LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, etc.).
- Knowledge of vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, or Chroma.
- Ability to optimize AI solutions for cost, scalability, and latency.
