Football Coach Apprentice – Graduate Trainee Program

HTT Football Academy, also known as Help the Talent Academy, is on a mission to nurture young athletes who are passionate about football. Our goal is to break barriers, unlock hidden potential, and provide lasting opportunities for children to succeed both on and off the pitch.

We are inviting applications for the Football Coach Apprentice (Graduate Trainee Program) across multiple locations in Lagos, including Agege, Ilupeju, Oke Odo, Lekki, Ikoyi, Ogba, and Ikeja.

About the Program

This graduate trainee program is tailored for fresh graduates or entry-level professionals passionate about football coaching and youth development. It provides structured training, mentorship, and hands-on exposure to coaching methodologies, academy operations, and player development pathways.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior coaches in planning and delivering training sessions for various age groups.
• Support player assessments, performance monitoring, and reporting.
• Learn and apply modern football coaching techniques, tactics, and fitness routines.
• Ensure smooth running of training schedules, matches, and player trials.
• Help manage kits, training equipment, and other academy resources.
• Promote discipline, teamwork, and the values of HTT Academy.
• Participate in seminars, workshops, and learning sessions for professional growth.
• Provide feedback and progress updates to the Head Coach.

Qualifications & Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in any field (recent or past graduates).
• Strong passion for football, coaching, and youth sports development.
• Basic understanding of football rules, fitness training, and tactics.
• Good communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow professionally.
• Previous experience as a player or volunteer in football (desirable but not mandatory).

Duration & Remuneration
