Job Summary
The Cleaner will be responsible for keeping assigned areas tidy, hygienic, and presentable. You’ll ensure the hotel remains spotless and welcoming for guests at all times. Ideal candidates should have a strong sense of responsibility, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently with or without supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces including desks, furniture, and windowsills.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms; restock toiletries and hygiene supplies.
- Empty trash bins and ensure safe disposal of waste.
- Wash windows, mirrors, and glass doors to maintain a sparkling appearance.
- Clean kitchen or dining areas, including appliances and countertops.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to the supervisor.
- Adhere to hotel safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Use and store cleaning supplies responsibly.
- Carry out deep cleaning tasks when assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a cleaner or janitor (preferred but not mandatory).
- Knowledge of cleaning agents, equipment, and safety standards.
- Physical stamina and readiness to stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Basic understanding of English for reporting and coordination.
