Entry-Level Product Design Apprenticeship (Remote | Sponsored by UX Woman)
Overview
This exciting 7-month Entry-Level Product Design Apprenticeship offers aspiring UX and product designers the chance to gain real-world experience — completely free of charge. Sponsored by UX Woman, the program selects two remote apprentices each year (spring or fall cohort) to receive personalized mentorship, hands-on UX training, and startup project experience. Participants will learn the full end-to-end UX and product design process and graduate prepared for high-paying roles in tech.
Host Institution
UX Woman — a global initiative supporting women, immigrants, POC, and LGBTQ individuals in breaking into tech. The organization provides free mentorship, career transition support, and access to industry professionals to help participants land six-figure design jobs.
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to new graduates and career changers exploring UX, product design, or service design.
- Must be able to commit 5–10 hours weekly for coursework and deliverables.
- Must attend 2–3 hour weekend lectures or complete online learning modules.
- Should be open to feedback and demonstrate creative problem-solving skills.
