As a Merchant Support Officer at OPay you will be the front-line operational link between OPay and its merchants. Your day-to-day focus includes on-site POS visits, terminal swaps and retrievals, first-level technical support, merchant record-keeping, and timely escalation of unresolved issues to operations supervisors.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct regular on-site merchant visits to diagnose and resolve POS issues.
- Perform POS swaps, replacements, and retrieve inactive terminals per SLA.
- Collect and update merchant records and operational data accurately.
- Provide first-level technical and operational support on site.
- Promote operational awareness and communicate company policies to merchants.
- Escalate unresolved issues to Market Officer / Operations Supervisor promptly.
- Document daily field activities and report findings accurately.
