Programme Details
- Duration: 6–12 months
- Employment Type: Full-time (hybrid or on-site options may apply)
- Eligible Countries: Cameroon, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia
Available Departments
Interns will be placed in departments aligned with their education, interests, and AMSCO’s organizational needs:
- Accounting & Finance: Budget tracking, financial analysis, and reporting; exposure to international finance systems.
- Sales & Marketing: Campaign development, market research, digital marketing, and client engagement strategies.
- Communications: Content creation, media relations, internal communications, and corporate branding projects.
- Human Resources (HR): Recruitment, onboarding, staff engagement, and HR analytics.
- Legal: Corporate governance, compliance, and legal research within an international development context.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist teams with administrative, operational, or technical support.
- Conduct research, data collection, and analysis to support departmental objectives.
- Participate in project coordination, client communications, or field assignments.
- Support document preparation, presentations, and reports.
- Contribute innovative ideas to improve team efficiency.
- Attend mentorship sessions, workshops, and team meetings.
- Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and strong work ethic.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Recent graduate (within 1–3 years) with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Communications, HR, Legal, or related fields.
- Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities; proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to work collaboratively in multicultural settings.
- Other Requirements: Reside in or willing to relocate to eligible countries; commit to full internship duration; prior internship or volunteer experience is an advantage.
