Eligible students may pursue Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degrees in accredited international universities, including some online programs approved by the Secretariat.

Who is this for?
Applicants applying for competitive funding, study visas, academic programs, research grants, or professional proposals needing expert-level positioning.
The scholarship supports studies at internationally accredited universities. Interestingly, St. Matthew’s University (located within the Cayman Islands) is also eligible since it is classified as an overseas university for the programme. Both on-campus and online study formats are accepted.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be Caymanian (proof of status required).
- Undergraduate applicants: strong academic performance in IB, A-Levels, CAPE, BTEC or equivalent.
- Postgraduate applicants: Bachelor’s degree with minimum GPA 3.0 (US) or 2:1 (UK) equivalent.
- Submission of all required documents, including transcripts, recommendation letters, personal statement/study plan, and university acceptance or proof of application.
- Commitment to return to the Cayman Islands upon completion to contribute to national development.
