Professional Driver – Ajah, Lagos

Khazcustom is looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Professional Driver to join our team in Ajah, Eti Osa, Lagos. This role involves transporting company vehicles, staff, clients, and materials while maintaining high standards for luxury vehicle handling and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle & Staff Movement

• Transport company vehicles to clients, paint shops, registration offices, and service stations.
• Drive staff or management to assignments, meetings, and events.
• Pick up and deliver parts, materials, and packages efficiently.

Customer Vehicle Handling

• Handle luxury and custom vehicles carefully, preventing damage or misuse.
• Check and document customer vehicle conditions during pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain courteous and professional client interactions.

Vehicle Maintenance & Inspection

• Conduct daily checks: oil, water, brakes, tires, fuel, lights before trips.
• Report faults or servicing needs promptly to Admin/Operations.
• Ensure vehicles are clean, inside and out, at all times.

Logistics & Errands

• Run official errands including banks, offices, suppliers, and government agencies.
• Collect and submit delivery notes, receipts, and trip documents accurately.

Compliance & Record Keeping

• Maintain accurate trip logs and fuel usage records.
• Follow traffic laws and company driving policies strictly.
• Avoid speeding, reckless driving, and unauthorized vehicle use.

Support Workshop Operations

• Assist in moving vehicles between departments (e.g., Wrap to Paint).
• Help with loading/unloading materials when required.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Punctuality & Reliability: 100% on-time arrivals daily.
• Zero Accidents or Infractions quarterly.
• Maintain clean, fully functional company vehicles.
• Accurate documentation of trips and fuel logs.
• Zero damage to client vehicles.
• Professional conduct in dress code, communication, and behavior.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum SSCE/WAEC certificate.
• Valid Nigerian driver’s license (Class B or D preferred).
• At least 3 years driving experience, preferably in corporate or automotive sectors.
• Good knowledge of Lagos routes and long-distance driving ability (Abuja, Ogun, etc.).
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance.
• Strong record-keeping skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Polite, presentable, respectful, and flexible for weekends or odd hours.
