Social Media Manager (NYSC Lagos) – Wildfire
Wildfire is searching for a proactive and creative Social Media Manager (Corps Member) to join our growing team in Lagos. This role is perfect for tech-savvy, imaginative Corps Members who want hands-on experience managing client accounts, learning content strategy, and growing online communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily activities of clients’ social media pages, primarily Instagram & LinkedIn.
- Create, curate, and publish engaging content across platforms.
- Develop monthly content calendars and basic strategies for client accounts.
- Edit short-form video content using mobile or desktop software.
- Design clean, visually appealing social media creatives (Canva or similar tools).
- Monitor performance, track analytics, and recommend improvements.
- Engage with audiences and respond to comments/messages professionally.
- Collaborate with internal teams to bring campaigns to life.
- Stay updated with trends, audio patterns, and new social features.
- Implement feedback quickly to continuously improve content quality.
Requirements
- Current NYSC Corps Member serving in Lagos (or about to resume).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
- Basic design & video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Rush, or similar).
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Ability to plan and execute monthly content calendars.
- Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Proactive, eager to learn, able to work independently.
- Open to feedback, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Bonus: Experience in copywriting, content strategy, or community management.
